"body": "
In this role, Mr. De Bremme will ensure that clients in the Netherlands have access to the wide range of services and solutions from across Marsh to address the business challenges they face. Mr. De Bremme will continue to serve as CEO of Marsh Belgium and Luxembourg – a position he has held since 2024 – and will focus on delivering market-leading insurance, risk advisory, and people-related services and solutions to clients across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. He succeeds David Sanderse, CEO of Marsh Netherlands, who will transition to the role of Chairman.

Mr. De Bremme rejoined Marsh in December 2023 as Head of Marine, Cargo & Logistics, Europe, having begun his career with the business in 1998 as a Senior Client Executive for global marine and energy clients. Based in Antwerp, he spent nine years with the business before joining AIG, where he held several senior underwriting roles over 14 years, most recently serving as Global Head of Marine from 2016 to 2022.

Commenting on the leadership transition, Mr. Geraghty said: “Kristof is an exceptional leader with a strong track record of serving clients and colleagues, and I am confident that his experience, together with the strength of Marsh’s global capabilities, will position our team in the Netherlands to help clients navigate an increasingly complex environment with greater confidence. He will build on the strong foundation David has created since joining in 2017. As one of the first leaders to bring together Marsh’s capabilities under combined leadership, David helped give clients broader access to our expertise, more integrated advice, and solutions tailored to their evolving needs.”

Mr. De Bremme added: “The Netherlands is a globally recognised hub for international trade, with world-class logistics networks and a strong presence in sectors such as technology, life sciences, and financial services. Yet businesses operating in the country continue to face a range of challenges, from economic volatility and talent shortages to cyber threats and climate-related risks, including flooding. I look forward to working with Marsh colleagues to bring the best of our business to clients across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and help them navigate these challenges and pursue their growth ambitions.”

",
